Shoton ( Yogurd) festival) fixed date

During Shoton festival, the huge silk appliqué Thangkas are displayed in both Drepung and Sera monasteries and thousands of pilgrims gather in both monasteries in oder to get blessing from the sacred Thangka images. In Norbu Linka, the residents of Lhasa city gather there and have picnic there with many interesting Tibetan opera show from different Tibetan opera organization.
