Tashi Lhunpo Thangka display festival

14th till 16th day of 5th Lunar month

The giant silk appliqué Thangka is displayed in Tashi Lhunpo monastery and thousands of pilgrims from all over Shigatse flock in the monastery for the special occasion to pay homage to one of the most sacred and greatest Thangka in Tibet.
