Lhasa Kailash Ngari Tour is an overland tour from Lhasa to Mount Kailash and a Kailash flight back trip from Ngari or Shiquanhe to Lhasa. Lhasa to Kailash and then flying back to Lhasa from Ngari prefecture is a new Kailash tour program which provide you the Mount Kailash and Mansarovar lake adventure tour like our other Kailash tour programs and also it makes the Kailash journey easier and and more comfort.
Mount Kailash ( Kang Rinpoche or precious jewel of snow in Tibetan )dominates the region with the sheer awesomeness of it's four-sided summit, just as it dominates the mythology of a billion people.
The Kailash flight trip back from Shiquanhe to Lhasa is two hours flight distance and it is one of the most beautiful mountain flights in Tibet. You will be flying over the vast region of Far-West Tibet , known as Ngari, in Tibetan and Ali in Chinese is like the neighboring Jangtang plateau, one of the least populated parts of Tibet and have tremendously gorgeous bird eye view of snow capped mountains, lots of lakes, huge grassland of Far-West Tibet plateau, nomad camp, Brahmaputra river.

  • Day 02,03 Lhassa Sightseeing Tour Hotel in Lhasa on BB

    wo days to visit Lhasa : Imposing Potala palace which dominates the city with its 13 floors of temples, chapels, apartments and gangways. Constructed by the 5th Dalai Lama (XVII century), it contents more than thousand rooms. It's the biggest building of Asia and without doubt one of the most beautiful, for its exterior architectural plan as well as the wealth of the treasure that it holds. Despite the fact that the Chinese want to turn it into a museum, hundreds of pilgrims offer prostrations to shrines, statues and thankas The Jokhang temple and the Barkor, the Tibetan heart of the city which still resounds of chants of monks, ritual tromps and pilgrims devotion. The Jokhang still shelters the famous statue of Buddha in glory, the Jowo, which was brought from China by the spouse of the king Songtsen Gampo (VII century) Night in Yak hotel in B/B basis

  • Day 04 Lhassa - Gyantse (5 h) Hotel in Gyantse on BB

    After passing the Khampa La pass, we follow the shore of the Yamdrok Lake up to Gyantse, one of the most beautiful villages of the Central Tibet . Visit the monastery and the famous Kumbum, the stupa with hundred thousand representations constructed in XVI century by the Newars from Kathmandu . Night in Yeti hotel in full board.

  • Day 05 Gyantse - Shigatse - Phuntsoling Camp on BLD

    Drive to Shigatse. We will quickly visit the Tashi Lumpo monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lamas. Then following the Bramhaputra, we visit the beautiful Phuntsoling monastery and the famous stupa of Jonang from which the school of Jonang got its name. The monastery shelters some beautiful frescos. Camp near the village along the Brahmaputra .

  • Day 06 Phuntsoling - Sarga Camp on BLD

    By the South road we join the high Tibetan plateau at more than 4000m in altitude, between Himalaya and Brahmaputra (Tsangpo). Numbers of nomad camps, herds of Kyangs (wild donkeys), gazelles and antelopes, and sometimes a mob of jackals howling with the fall of the night or even a lonely wolf...we profit by these camps on the Tibetan plateau to plant our tent for meditation and doing our daily sessions, morning and evening.   • Day 07 Sarga – Baryang-Lake Mansarovar Camp on BLD

    We follow the road towards Kailash in breathtaking landscapes. Camp at Baryang. Reaching Kailash, we will finally plant our tent near the Chiu monastery beside the lake Camp.

  • Day 08 Mansarovar-Dharchen Hotel in Dharchen on BLD

    Morning, enjoy at the Lake Mansarovar and afternoon, drive to Dharchen to prepare the three days Kailash Kora. Hotel on full board

  • Day 09 Circumambulation of Mount Kailash Camp on BLD

    Following the pilgrims, 3 days (4/5 h walk per day) walk to complete the ritual circumambulation of the mountain and have time to sit and soak ourselves with this exceptional place. The khora is done in one day by some pilgrims, while others do it in full prostrations or pitch their tents to meditate on the foot of the holy mountain. Camping near Diraphuk monastery ( 5210m )

  • Day 10 Circumambulation of Mont Kailash Camp on BLD

    The most difficult day of the trip because we have to cross Tara's pass (Dolma La 5700 m ) before descending the other side to camp near the cave of Milarepa that we will visit the following day. Camp.

  • Day 11 Circumambulation of Moutn Kailash then drive to Lake Mansarovar. Camp on BLD

    Visit the cave of Milarepa (Zutrul Puk, the cave of miracles) then finishing the trip we will camp at Tharboche to witness the festival the next morning. Camp.

  • Day 12 Morning, hike around Lake Mansarovar and afternoon, drive Ali, Shiquanhe. Hotel in Shiquanhe

    Half day hike around Mansarovar with a great view of Gurla Mandata, Mansarovar Lake, Great Mount Kailash in the distance. After lunch, you will hike to Chiu Gompa and enjoy the final panoramic view of Mount Kailash from Chiu Gompa. Afternoon, drive to Ali, Shiquanhe which is 300km distance drive with a very good paved conditioned road.

  • Day 13 Shiquanhe to Lhasa Lhasa Flight, 2 hours flight and flight to Chengdu

    Early morning, drive to Ngari Kunsha airport which is around an hour drive. You will have a great mountain flight from Ngari to Lhasa.
