After Thimphu, you will continue your
tours in Bhutan and drive to Paro which is your last destination during your travel to Bhutan. In Paro, you will hike to Taktshang monastery, known as Tiger’s nest. The monastery is located at the elevation of around 3050mts above sea level and it is 800 meters above the Paro valley. Taktshang monastery is considered as the most sacred Buddhist monastery in Bhutan and all the Bhutanese people believe that it is must be visited once in a life time. As a tourist, it is a very beautiful hike from the Paro valley to the monastery and you will get the most beautiful view of the entire Paro valley with very beautiful traditional Bhutanese houses. In the afternoon, visit Drugyal Dzong. The Dzong – whose name means “Fortress of Victory” – commemorates the victory of Bhutanese over Tibetan invaders in the 17
th century. From here, you can see the snow-clad Mount Jumolhari (Abode of Goddess Jumo, alt. 7,329 m) bordered to Yadong county of Tibet, China. The snow peaked mountain is considered as one of the most sacred and beautiful peaks in both Tibet and Bhutan.
