The lush Rhododendron forest, beautiful and happy villages and dramatic mountain view of the great Himalayan range as well as an absolutely fantastic panoramic view of Annapurna snowcapped Mountain. This trek in Nepal is moderately difficult with ups and downs on rugged trail but the landscape is extremely beautiful so we won’t feel tired or bored during our trekking in Nepal. .
Annapurna Base Camp at 4,200m is a funnel shaped valley with 360° degree view of Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8,091 m), Tent peak, Fishtail and others. Melting snow of the gigantic rock faces form glacier that drains into Modi River. Annapurna I is the tenth highest peak in the world and is the first of the 8,000 m peak climbed as early as in 1950.
Extension of dirt road further into the valley made it possible to do the trek comfortably in 13 days. Drive with 4WD to the new trail head avoiding the dusty road and trek only in the higher reaches which are still pristine.

During our Annapurna Base Camp trek, we will enjoy seeing different landscapes every day and Nepal’s Charming traditional villages with terrace farms and schools, lush green gorge and meadow, smiling people in the lively villages and a very comfortable bath in the hot spring of Modi river after 8 days trekking.
