- Day 01: Arrival in Lhassa, tsf to the downtown Lhasa (3650m/60km). Hotel in Lhasa
You will be warmly welcome by our Tibetan guide and driver and accompany you to the holy city of Lhasa along with the view of Bharmaputra, known as YarlungTsangpo in Tibetan and a giant stone carved Buddha with more than a thousand years history.
- Day 02: Lhasa sightseeing: Potala, Jokang temple and Bharkor. Hotel in Lhasa
Sightseeing Potala Palace, winter Palace of the Dalai Lama, Jokang temple, the oldest and most sacred temple of Tibet, Bharkor, the ancient market of Lhasa and the most oldest and sacred pilgrimage path in Lhasa.
- Day 03: Lhasa sightseeing: Drepung& Sera monasteries. Hotel in Lhasa
Sightseeing Drepung monastery, the largest monastery in Tibet and one of the six biggest monasteries of Gelukpa sect in Tibetan Bhuddhism. Sera monastery, the scond largest monastery of Tibet and it is very interesting to watch the monks debating in the monastetry.
- Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse.(3950Mts/ 280Km ) Hotel in Gyantse
You will start your tour at around 9Am from your hotel and then drive towards Gyangtse through 3 big mountain passes, Kampa La, Karo La, Simila respectively. Karola is the highest pass among them which is over 5000Mts with it's most beautiful glaciers, beautiful Yamdrok lake emerged as coral color from the top of Kampala pass. You will have your lunch at Nakartse country which is just between the Yamdroklake and Karola glaciers.
- Day 05: Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse. (3900mts/ 90Km ) Hotel in Shigatse
You will start your tour at around 9Am from your hotel and then drive towards Palchoe monastery for a few minutes. Visit Palchoe monastery and Kubum Pagoda stupa. After the sightseeing, You will have your lunch and then continue your journey to Shigatse by passing one of the biggest farming land in Tibet where people grow barley, wheat, different kinds of vegetables.
Pm visit Tashi Lhunpo monastery and old market of Shigatse.
- Day 06: Drive to Lhatsé then Ngamring Tso-Sangsang-Saga (4640m/450km). Hotel in Saga.
You will start your tour at around 9.0Am from Shigatse and drive to Sangsang through two big mountain passes, Tsola 4500Mts/ Ngamring la 4650Mts and some beautiful villages on the way. Continue driving to Saga through the vast grassland. The road condition is good and it will take you around 8-9 hrs to get there.
- Day 07: Drive Saga to Manasarovar lake (4590m/435km). Guesthouse
Reaching Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash, it is an amazing landscape, the view from the point called Chaktsalkang where we can first see the Lake Mansarovar right infrot of us and Mt Kailash in the distance. It is extremely beautiful to see Lake Mansarovar and Mt Kailash in the distance which could be called as heaven.
- Day 08: Drive directly to Tarpoche and trek to Dhiraphuk (5210Mts/18Km) Lodge on BB
Today is the first day of your KailashKora which is totally around 53Km . You start your Kora from Darchen and after like 2 hrs walk, you will face DarpoChe where there is a huge prayer flag pole which is annually replaced by the pilgrimages on 15 th of forth Lunar month, known as Saga Dawa festival, As well as Trulku monastery on your leftside up on the hill side. You can also see ibex and blue sheep running in the rocky hillside while you are walking and then you will reach DhiraPhuk which was a monastery before but nowadays you can only see the ruins of the monastery as the monastery was destroyed in the cultural revolution.
- Day 09: Trek to Drolma la (5636m/15km). Lodge at Dhiraphuk. Lodge on BB
Today is the most difficult day of Kailash trekking because we have to cross Tara's pass (Dolma La 5636 m ) but at the same time, it is the most exciting day of the Kailash trek that you will climb to the highest pass during your entire Kailash tour and you will feel very much proud of being on the top of Drolmala pass, seeing the Mt, Kailash and standing in the beautiful prayer flags and full of snow.
- Day 10: Trek to Dharchen and drive to Tirthapuri, 4330Mts/60Km. Guest house
Trek around Kailash and we drive to Tirthapuri at the distance of around 60Km with a very good road condition, enjoying the spacious plateau profiting to enhance our daily meditations.
- Day 11: Tirthapuri –Shangshung-Dawa Dzong-Tholing,3660Mts/ 240Km. Hotel in Tholing
Morning, excursion to Kyunglung Guru Gyam and then You will be driving across one of the biggest passes during your journey called Jiangla pass (5100Mts ) and from the top of the pass, you will enjoy a unique land view resembling to a pool as it is just consumed it's water from the pool or similar to Egypet mud towers.
- Day 12: Tholing- Guge Kingdom, 20Km , Visit Guge Kingdom- Tholing, Visit Tholing monastery. Hotel in Tholing
After breakfasts, you will drive to Guge Kingdom at the distance of 17km from Tholing and visit Guge Kingdom. GUGE KINGDOM was founded in the late 10 th century by lineages of Lang Dharma, King PalkorTsen's son Kyede Nyima Gon after the Tsenpo period was diminished in the late 10 th century and it was resided by 16 lineages of the Kings respectively. The citadel of Guge is situated up on a giant cliff and it has (300Meters) in height and 18,0000 square Meters in length. Eventhough the citadel of Guge was heavily destroyed, it still remains important Buddhist arts in Tsaparang. The wall paintings and the statues paint were influenced by Kashmiri style in 11 th century, Newari style in 14 th and 15th century, and Tibetan style in 17 th century respectively. The least damaged temples now are White, Red and Demchok temples and you can see damaged heads or shoulders of the statues and destroyed wall paintings on the wall in those temples. THOLING MONASTERY the temples and religious buildings of Tholing are the most significant in far west Tibet . The monastery was constructed under the guidance of the great Tibetan translator RinchenZangpo in around 11 th century although some historian refers to the date of 996.During his life time, he is said to have built 108 temples throughout far west Tibet and Ladhakeventhough few still exist, those at Tholing are considered to be the best examples of Guge style of Buddhist art. Tholing was the main religious centre prior to the visit of the great Indian PanditAtisha due to the influence of RinchenZangpo. Atisha was invited by RinchenZangpo under the instruction of the Guge King Yeshe-O. As the history goes by, Yeshe-O was very devoted to RinchenZangpo's activities and he himself founded the monasteries in Tholing. Yeshe-O sent his men to India to invite Atisha several times but they returned after being refused their request several times. Yeseh-O sacrificed all his life in order to invite Atisha. He was captured by invading troops from Qarloq who demanded ransom. When Yeshe-O's nephew Jangchub O tried to save his life, Yeshe- O responded to his nephew by saying " I am an old man. My life now is short. Use the ransom to invite and assist Atisha to come to Tibet . When Atisha was moved by Yeshe-O's dedication to Buddhism, Atisha finally agreed to visit Tibet and he was amazed to see Buddhism flourishing when he arrived in Guge. Hotel
- Day 13: Tholing-Dungkar & Peyang-Ali, Shiquanhe (4280Mts/220km) Hotel in Shiquanhe on BB
After breakfast, start your journey towards Dungkar and Peyang, visit the most ancient wall painting of Ngari region with more than thousand years history. You will be driving across one of the biggest passes during your journey called Jiangla pass (5100Mts ). After around 320KM drive, you will reach Ali prefecture. It is one of the highest prefecture in Tibet.
- Day 14: Shiquanhe- Rutog-Doma (4,400m) (355km, 7-8 hours) Guest house on BB
Drive to Rutok in the morning enroute visit Pangong-tso Lake, today the road follows the eastern shoreline of Lake Pang-gong, and the landscape along this stretch is breathtaking in its beauty, the extreme clarity of the atmosphere gives the strange, multi colored earth of the hills, cliffs and plains a surreal visionary quality. Have your camera ready to take some memorable landscape photos.
- Day 15 Doma-Aksai Chin- Dahongliutan (4,100m) (358Km, 8-9hours) Guest house on BB
Drive about 2 or 3hours on the desert over 5,000m, start to pass over JieshanDaban which is 6,700m high (The real high altitude should be around 5,400m). Passing by the Aksai Chin which is one of the two large disputed border areas between India and China.
- Day 16: Dahongliutan- Mazar (3,000m) (253kM, 6-7hours) Guest house on BB
How long it will take for the driving depending upon road and climate conditions. You are now on the LingziThang Plains; the Kunlun mountain ranges are on the right and the Karakorum mountain range left. The road is very straight, and the landscape fantastic: out of the window scenery appears in brown and red alternatively; emerald small lakes shine under the sunlight. After crossing a high pass (4950m) , you will reach Mazar,
- Day 17: Mazar (3,000m) / Yecheng or Karghilik or Karghalik (1,100m) (234KM,5-6hours) Simple hotel on BB
Soon after pass by Mazar you begin to cross the Kunlun Mountains. The Chiragsaldi (4.960 m) is the last pass you have to cross on the way. Afterwards drive downward along the Yecheng ravine to Xinjiang. Situated at the edge of the Taklamakan desert, Yecheng is a city with a pretty Bazar inhabited by Uigur and Han Chinese.

You will be driving through the beautiful landscape of Kunlun mountain range and the fruit tree.
Morning drive about 249 km to Kashgar (1300Mts), the largest oasis of China. The tar road runs at the edge of the Taklamakan desert. On the way enjoy the landscape of the Kunlun. Grey-black rocks and sand dunes compose the major feature of the landscape of Taklamakan. On the last section of the way we pass by an expanded, watered field. The Islamic oasis city is coin-shaped and inhabited mainly by Uygur. It was once an important communication on the Silk Road, being the starting point of the northern and southern routes. Hotel

You can roam around the town and enjoy the relaxing after long journey.
If you are there during Sunday, then you can enjoy the Sunday Bazar. Bazar is Uygur language, meaning market and trade place. Bazaar Delicacies: Xinjiang Kebabs, Zhua Fan (Rice Eaten with Hands), nang (a kind of Uygurs' food), Youtazi (Steamed multilayer bread).
Local specialties: carpets, clay pottery, jewelry, folk musical instruments, guavas, almonds, figs, grapes and melons.
